I am a new subscriber, so please forgive me if this question has
been addressed in the list. I have the bizarre issue that when xterm
i launched in leopard, and I click on its window, the window loses
focus after about a second. This is extremely frustrating while you
are trying to type in the terminal. When you click on the window
again, focus is restored, but lost again after about a second.
However, clicking on the X11 icon in the dock restores focus to the
front-most X11 window which is not then lost — unless you click on
the window again.
This means that with more than one X11 window open, to change the
active window, you must click on the window - and then on the X11
icon in the dock in order to stop focus from being lost.
You don't happen to have the last.fm software installed, do you?
