If compatibility is a concern, you should stick with a configuration that you know works. Why upgrade?

Ok - you nailed me good with this one. I was pretty discouraged when I came dragging here. Important things weren't working right, some things were very surprisingly different (Launchd) and the documentation was not helpful. After several days and nights of crawling the archives and getting to know what's been happening and that others share some of my problems it's very obvious now that you and your team are busting your butts to make all this work. So let me apologize for my dour moment on joining the group and congratulate you for your determination, patience, and successes. It was obvious almost immediately that this project is in good hands, so thank you too for what you're doing to help us get our work done.
