Indeed. I would say that focus stealing is outright dangerous on a Unix
system. Oftentimes a message pops up and disappears because I was
in the middle of typing something, and I would have no idea what the
message was and what action was taken. This mess could have been
avoided if OSX's GUI were X11-based. Alas =P
