My IMAC locked up today

I am using Leopard on my computer and had it lock up. I had to press the power on button for about 5 seconds to get it to shut down. I have updated the X11 software using Ben Byers modifications. Since X11 is in a state of flux I am assuming that X11 was the culpret.

I would like to set my terminal.app back to not launching X11. How can I do this?
