I have a hard time finding an earlier reference to this problemm, but
do you mean the bug whereby a freshly started X client seems to think
the Alt key is pressed? I just installed 1.3a1, and I am seeing that
problem there. Just hit any modifier key, and it reverts to a normal
state.
