That's what I was looking for! Unfortunately, I immediately ran into problems:
1) $ sudo launchctl unload -w /System/Library/LaunchAgents/org.x.X11.plist launchctl: Error unloading: org.x.X11
This is strange but probably harmless. What this command does is write a "disabled=true" key into that plist; you could achieve the same effect by just deleting that file (or moving it aside)
