Re: Tiger X11 gotchas, was: Constructive conversations

Ok, I downgraded to Tiger X11, ran:

----------------------
$ /usr/X11R6/bin/Xquartz -query 10.1.2.58 -once

XFree86 Version 4.4.0 / X Window System
(protocol Version 11, revision 0, vendor release 6600)
[DRI] screen 0 installation complete
Screen 0 added: 1920x1200 @ (0,0)
Could not init font path element /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/CID/,
removing from list!
-----------------------

...which looks the same as the output under Tiger, as far as I can
remember, but the big difference now is that no icon shows up in the
dock, so I can't focus the xdmcp window. (My Tiger X11 appears to be
in Fullscreen mode, because when I run /Applications/Utilities/X11.app
it starts a working, fullscreen Tiger X11)

That seems to support hypothesis that the "can't focus the xdmcp
window" problem is deeper in Leopard.

Any other testing I can do?
