Re: Installing X11 from Tiger

Rich,

Spaces and Tiger X11 work nicely together apart from the odd spontaneous switch, so that combo seems pretty usable to me.

That hurts, since X11 is the main app I distribute over multiple desktops, as it is my main "workhorse" application in OS X.

Dumb question:
Will DesktopManager work with Leopard?

Not really. I have seen the pager appearing only on one desktop which makes it pretty useless, and whole desktops full of windows become permanently invisible. The latter is particularly weird for System Preferences, because you can't then change anything any more, and you need to log out to fix it.

I guess one can get used to Spaces, too, except for its dislike of windows from X11.
