I installed Leopard on a macbook pro core 2 duo (the newest model)
and X11 seems to have some problems
The one that i fond the most problematic is problems relative to
keyboard mapping. What is happening is that i can't type special
signs like +, =, @, with my keyboard in a X11 application. It
outputs something else.
So is there any work around for that (special question to Ben!)? Is
the problem recognized? Anyone else having the same problem?
I have received one other report of incorrect characters on Japanese
keyboards -- I will try to find one to test. (If you would like,
please submit a bug report at bugreporter.apple.com with any extra
info you can provide.)
Also, is there any plan to fix soon X11 in order that it works well
with Space?
It's on the list of things to be done, but I don't yet fully
understand the problem, so I can't say how soon I can fix it.
