Think the OP was looking for a forum, not a reporting channel.
Unfortunately. I don't know the answer either.  But I do recommend
that you give iTerm a try.  Historically much more reliable and
featureful than Terminal.app, thouigh I haven't compared it to the
Leopard version of the latter yet.
