What is your setting for "when switching to an application, switch to a space with that application" in spaces preferences.
this is turned on
What you are describing sounds to me like NX is abusing override- redirect in their windows. When we switch to an override-redirect window, it is always moved to the current space. This is for windows like menus and tooltips which should not cause a space change when they are drawn.
i can make a screen capture video if it helps?

Hi Jeremy,
spaces and X11 is a little hmmm... if i select the x11 icon in the dock
it will not change to to the correct space were x11 and nx is. Only the graphic window
and the sidebar window (if any) of NX is displayed, but in the wrong space.
So maybe there any special settings for X11 and spaces?
P.S. you can see NX in action on X11 on the "eggispan" cannel in youtube.
Thanks for any help Marcel
