Creating PlugIn mechanism I add a COCOA loadable bundle target to my project. Compile it and the result is a .bundle file within by build folder. So the default product extension is .bundle. Then I change the target by setting the wrapper extension to .plugin. After compiling I have a .plugin file as expected within by build folder. BUT: the listed product name is not updated. It still says blabla.bundle. I hardly tried to get rid of it: I tried deleting the blabla.bundle file from the build folder. Now listed product is red colored (which ist ok). Now I tried to change products' file reference by calling products "Get Info" via CTRL+Klick. I set the file reference to my blabla.plugin file from build folder. After that, the listet product name is *red* but shows the correct extension (.plugin). Calling the "Get Info" again, it shows the correct name and path. BUT: When Opening the "Choose" panel I can see that the reference to my .plugin file does not really seem to be stored (because nothing is selected as current reference within the choose box). Obviously this must be the reasen for the listed product have been colored red.
My Problem is, that I need the product correctly named and references for usage within a copy rule...
So: How can I change a loadable bundles' wrapper extension correctly, so that resultig listed product correctly references the .plugin file instead of a .bundle.
I even tried not to delete the .bundle file, but just reassign the product to the .plugin file. After that everything seems fine. BUT: The file the copy rule copied is not the .plugin, but the .bundle file though "Get Info" of the listed product says blabla.plugin as name AND path. Product is not marked as red, so I thought everything would work fine :-( So this seems to be a bug...
