Indeed! Personally I download large files from any of the servers I have an ssh-account on because these generally have faster lines, and then I can shutdown etc. my own machine -- this gets a bit more cumbersome when the DL is split into dozen of packages.


Perhaps someone who have already downloaded the entire file (and merged it) could seed a BitTorrent?
