well not sure why but restarting the mac got it back in line. has
anyone else ran into this kind of behavior or is my mac sitting too
close to my windoze machine
Logging out and back in may work as well. That doesn't take quite as
long as restarting.
There have been reports of NSLog output not being logged to the
console, and I have experienced this problem myself. It looks like the
problem occurs with printf as well. I'd recommend filing a bug report
if you see it again.
