Fwd: Hiding the right gutter for the main menu



I still don't think this is much of a solution as indeed still much 
space is being wasted (assuming of course people like to make things a 
bit thinner then 1.5 will allow) and it should be also noted if you 
close a project and reopen it the right side of the split view returns. 
  (So each time I'd have to enlarge the window, resize the left side, 
the resize the window to the smallest width I can get it currently)
