I thought this bug was fixed in Xcode 1.1. You may need to have 
indexing enabled.

Please file a bug as the error markers should be tracking the proper 
line (assuming that line still exists).

Please file an enhancement request if you want this functionality.

Are you debugging C code or Java code?

You can compare two files by using the 'Compare' menu items under the 
SCM menu.

Please file an enhancement request if there is something you want from 
the Project Symbols smart group that isn't covered by the Class 
Browser.
