Editing Build Styles

I have a situation where I cannot edit build styles in any of my projects, including newly created projects. When I select the 'Edit Styles' choice in the styles popup, I get the editing sheet, but the list is completely blank. The only option available is 'Cancel'.

I am running 10.3.2/Xcode 1.1.

Has anyone else seen this? Is there a fix for it? A colloquies install of Xcode doesn't display this behavior. Idea's anyone????
