customizing ui

I prefer having my tabs set to 4 spaces but I'm working on a collaborative project where everybody else uses tab=3. Is there a way to keep my default at 4 but set this one project to 3?

When I do a 'project find', as I click on a case in the 'detail view' area, the text is highlighted in a very light gray. My tired old eyes have a hard time picking that up. Is there a way to alter that highlighting color?
