I'm an amateur developer who came into some money. I decided that
the one thing I really wanted to do was go to WWDC and it was a great
experience.
To see Steve Jobs give the key note live. To put my hands all over the
new G5's.
To kick a lot of ass at the Medal Of Honor Lan game area. If your a
real Mac head you gotta
do it. The Campus party. Free Isight. The main thing is the people.
The Mac crowd are
the coolest most diversified worldly group I ever had the chance to
hang out with.
The conferences were nice, too ;-)
The strip clubs and the hookers in SF are pretty hot too. It's just
an awesome event.
A moron like me in the presence of all these great minds, and hot
hookers at night.
If I ever get the money again I'd spend it on WWDC in a
second.......and Hookers :-)
Hookers???
Gee. I'm still trying to get the "mystery WWDC 2000 girl" out of my
head. I need not think about hookers.
for Quinn's assessment of this mind torture we had to go through that
particular week in 2000.
