Template static data members in GCC4

I'm having trouble with definitions of template static data members in GCC4. Here's a simple example:

    template <class T>
    class A
    {
        static T *x;
    };

    int *A<int>::x = 0;

GCC 3.3 accepts this, but GCC 4 says "error: too few template- parameter-lists" on that last line. If there are two few, what am I missing?
