"Open Quickly" doesn't find files that are in my project!

Hello,

I am finding that the "Open Quickly" command is not so smart. It works
for many files (Apple headers notably) but doesn't find others. In
particular, files that are *in the project* and *found by the compiler*
are *not* found by "Open Quickly". Is this by design?

If I add paths to Preferences > Opening Quickly it will subsequently
find them, but I don't like this solution as those are application-wide
preferences and I would rather "Open Quickly" work by project (I have
several projects that use different versions of 3rd party headers).

Any suggestions?

Thanks!
