Xcode 2.1 and group renaming

I'm having an bizarre issue with Xcode 2.1. Namely, when I attempt to rename an item in my group tree, I can type about three characters of the new item name, then the edit field reselects itself, and causes me to type over my previous characters. Perversely, this behavior just started today, and I've been using 2.1 for over a week.

By chance, I set Xcode to "Go Offline", and the annoying behavior stops, so it may be an interaction with my Subversion SCM.

Ideas?
