Extra (non-OS) software tends not to be included on the OS Restore disk. We expect to make 2.2.1 available via ADR download. But you can also just burn a DVD from the Xcode Tools .dmg provided on the Intel boxen.

Hi Chris,

When you make xcode 2.2.1 available, Is it possible to post a binary diff (or a software upgrade package) between xcode 2.2 and xcode 2.2.1, instead of the full dmg file.

Downloading 834MB again, from my slow link, takes over 48 hours, and several restart attempts because of ADC cookie expirations. Even my fast link, which I get to use occasionally, at 110 Kbps takes about 2.5 hours to download, but that link limits me to 2 hours per day.

Didn't they used to offer the option of large downloads available in chunks? Still a hassle, but gets you there...
