This doesn't address all of your concerns, but command-E works
across processes so you don't have to do the copy/paste bit in
your steps above. Just select the method name, command-E, command-
tab to get back to Xcode, then do whatever you'd do in Xcode.

Given that it's implemented via the pasteboard it's not all that
surprising (Cocoa developers, see NSPasteboard and "NSFindPboard").
But I agree - it is great! I use it _all_the_time_!
