Re: 2.2: Typing in file-list doesn't change file in editor

Sorry if this has been covered, can't find a good way to search for it thru my digest mode emails.

I'm focused in the file list (the one with code size etc), and I've got my editor buildt in below.

If I move in the list with the arrow keys, or click on a file with the mouse, the editor shows this file.

If I type the first letters of the file name, the list jumps down to the correct file, but the editor doesn't show it!!!

This worked file before 2.2.

This is really annoying, as my whole non-mouse setup falls appart, or I have to open the file in a new window or go up/down after typing the filename.

Does anybody know a way around this?

I've confirmed this, and it is a regression in 2.2.  If you would be so kind as to file a bug report at http://bugreporter.apple.com I'd appreciate it, and you'll get a notification when it's fixed.

As a workaround, you can do type-select navigation in the Groups and Files tree (that still works), or in the detail view, you can do Command-Shift-E to open the Editor on the selected file (another Command-Shift-E will reveal and focus the Detail view again).
