I've confirmed this, and it is a regression in 2.2. If you would be so kind as to file a bug report at http://bugreporter.apple.com I'd appreciate it, and you'll get a notification when it's fixed. As a workaround, you can do type-select navigation in the Groups and Files tree (that still works), or in the detail view, you can do Command-Shift-E to open the Editor on the selected file (another Command-Shift-E will reveal and focus the Detail view again).
