Hi James, I hope I'm not stating the obvious here, but have you tried double-clicking on the "Cannot resolve symbol" error itself (in the Build Results window if you're using the multiple window setup)? I find doing this takes me right to the line where it's reporting the error. XCode 2.1 would give you a description of the problem as well (or a better description than "Cannot resolve symbol" at least) and I also noticed this missing in 2.2. That may be all that you are talking about, in which case I agree it's a bug. I just wasn't sure if you knew there was a way to get straight to the problem line ...
