No include file list?

I'm moving a large CW project to XCode, so this may be a stupid
configuration problem, but...

The project was created manually using the C Carbon app template, not
the project translator. All of the source files are .c files, except for
one .cpp file. Everything compiles correctly, so it seems to be using
the right compiler settings for each file type.

However, the lone .cpp file seems to not be putting anything into the
dependency tree (it doesn't always compile when it should and symbol
definition lookups don't work), and the "#" menu contains none of the
include files that are actually included. In fact the menu is disabled.

So it's obviously a setting I'm missing for the .cpp file, but when I
look at the settings for .cpp files in the preferences, it seems to
match the .c files.

This is XCode 2.3/OS X 10.4.7.

What am I missing here?
