The macada.org distribution is based on the GCC 3 sources, which makes it difficult to integrate with C/C++ libraries and apps built with the GCC 4.x compiler. Adding the Fortran compiler would be most excellent too. I realize there are alternatives here too, like the HPC project on SourceForge, NAG, Absoft, and Intel. However, having the GCC f95 integrated into the standard Apple distribution would be extremely useful.

That's good to hear - I think. How does this play with the Apple distribution? Apple's distribution is still labeled as 4.0.1, but I seem to recall hearing that it might actually be based on newer versions of GCC.

BTW, some of the Ada code that I'd like to port to Mac might be some of the same code you helped with several years ago on SGI.
