Hidden files (was Re: Setting up searches in Xcode)

Could be. All my bootable partitions have a lineage from at least 10.1.
The .hidden file still works, though. I just tried it on 10.4.7, ppc and i386.

That's good to know.


Read it as a cautionary note: SetFile might work perfectly, yet an item remains invisible. In that case, look for .hidden.

I just tried it on /usr and it didn't become visible yet no .hidden file exists.
