It did, my oly problem was handling ssh. The rest worked like a charm. Thanks!
And as to the actual question, I know of no other way thatn to re-assemble your project in Xcode 1.5 which - as you can guess - is terribly error prone.

Mmm... with a few targets, special build rules, and dependencies it do become a pain...
Remote debugging saved my day :)
