Re: How to launch an application for a given document name from carbon

When double clicking an Icon for a document with a well known application bound to it, the finder automatically start the appropriate application and shows the document.
How would this be done from within a Carbon application with a given document file specification or where can I find documentation on how to do this?

LSOpenItemsWithRole or LSOpenFromRefSpec or some other suitable API from Launch Services.

As this is more a carbon question than Xcode, you should really post this question on the carbon-dev list.
