svn diff ingores xcodeproj bundles by default?

bzr diff | wc -c
   48928

47K diff just for opening and closing the project file!

This problem make reading diffs very hard, because each tiny change in your source is littered with huge irelevant diff in the project files.

I'm sure most of you know this problem and I wonder what is the best way to avoid it.
