You don't track changes to these files?

How to you know that it will not break the project when you get an older revision from the repo?

The user-specific files can be deleted at will; they won't affect the building of your project. I don't keep them under version control either.


They do have useful stuff, like your MallocStackLogging environment variable, so you might have to restore that. But this is debug- related, not build-related.
