Re: text editor - shift left/right



I'm not sure I understand what you're asking, but in my copy of Xcode Command+[ and Command+] shift whole lines to the left and right (the key bindings are customizable in the prefs).

Not sure what you mean by "select the whole line of text". Those commands work for me on the current line if there is no selection, or on multiple lines if there is a selection that spans multiple lines.
