XCode 2.3 Available - Warning

Responding to my own earlier post. If you do install XCode 2.3 and you choose to install the optional Java Developer Documentation, be aware that it takes an incredibly long time to install this. It warns you via a dialog box that it can take between 20 minutes and an hour for this to install and index, but it doesn't tell you this until after you've already begun the installation process.

And they aren't kidding. So far, on a 1.5GHz G4 AlBook, it's been installing for close to an hour already, really, with the CPU at 100%, and it's still going. I'm hoping that it will run faster on my G5, but I think I'll wait until lunch to start it.

I don't see this posted yet. Sorry if it's a dup.

XCode 2.3 has been released for free download from the ADC web site <http://connect.apple.com/>. It's a 915M download, and the Release Notes are a separate, much smaller, PDF download.
