What are the drawbacks and benefits of using DWARF over Stabs?
We have found that using DWARF solves the majority of the (major!)
problems we were having with breakpoints in previous versions of
Xcode. Specifically, we are now able to set breakpoints in all of
our static libraries, and the debugger will now stop on any break-
points without crashing.
(That may sound basic, but those are the problems we were having
with Stabs, so if you have the same, then try switching to DWARF!)
We haven't found any problems specific to DWARF yet.
