If I were in charge, I might well have done the same thing. Not everyone is using Xcode, so it makes sense to have a complete installation. (And the integrated documentation is a cool feature of Xcode, one I would actually fire it up for when I was still compiling with CodeWarrior).


Surely just having the documentation dmg next to a trimmed down Xcode installer dmg would be more sensible.

This is a great alternative for many people, but getting the complete package out would have been my priority.
