Not to mention that Apple
international keyboards are totally horrible to code with. I'm not
sure
about the other types but the French one has no brackets, no square
brackets, no backslash, no pipe...
Well, I have no problems with my German keyboard. Brackets are
shift-8 and shift-9, Option-8 and Option-9 give curly brackets,
Option-5 and Option-6 give angle brackets, and Option-7 is the pipe.
That's not any harder to type than regular brackets or anything. The
only thing that is really annoying is the backslash, which is Option-
Shift-7, which is just to complicated a shortcut to reliably type two
dozen times in a row when writing LaTeX mark-up.
So, speak for yourself.
