I actually use an international keyboard myself (though it's true that the Apple U.K. layout on most of my machines is very similar to the U.S. layout... not identical though, I hasten to add; some of the keys move about or are different shapes, and I can't get a # without holding Option). The default keyboard shortcuts work OK for me (at least, the ones I use).


Anyway, if the default shortcuts are inconvenient, set things up how you'd like them, then file a bug report with the details. I'm sure Apple will consider feedback on the issue from French users.
