I like this scrolling behavior very much! The main reason for this is: The cursor is always near the middle of the editors-window. You can see what is going on above and below the line, you are currently editing. This is very useful to me. In other editors, after scrolling beyond the last line, you stick in the last line, at the bottom of the Editors-Window and always "wrench your neck". I think a solution to this problem would be to completely highlight the line the cursor is currently located. Like Eclipse does. Then it would be easier to locate that line after scrolling. This kind of line highlighting is a very good eye-catcher so you never lose track of the line currently being edited. |
