Wrong. *.pp files in Open Inventor need to be preprocessed (with the
ppp tool included with OIV) to become valid C++ (*.cpp file). Have a
look at the makefiles to find out how to use ppp.

Get fresh copies of these files. There must have been a
transmission error they are corrupted.. From the looks this is C++.
So I think the filename should have been .cpp
