Can I show complete error message in xcode 3?

When compiling, I often get error messages of the type:

error: no matching function for call '...'. While I can click on the
error and see the line where the function was called, when this
function is in a template I can't see the chain of calls which reached
this point. To find the bug, I find I usually have to open a terminal
and manually compile with g++ so I can see the complete error and the
template trace.

Is there any way to get this in xcode?
