Re: Any way to get tiny "clear console" button back?

Actually that Help menu search is potentially confusing for alternate menu items: there's no indication that it's an alternate.

Say I search for "clear" and see that "Clear Console" is in the Run menu, but it's disabled right now. Okay, I know where to go later.

Later on I want to clear the console, so I go to the Run menu. Hey, all I see is "Console" now! How do I get to the clear command without searching for it? Especially since, with my current settings, neither command has a shortcut. The concept of alternate menu commands without shortcuts is not intuitive to me at all. Normally the alternate is revealed by pressing its shortcut modifiers.

Plus, I don't think showing the console window and clearing its contents are quite close enough to be alternate menu commands of each other. Yes, time to file some bugs.
