You should definitely learn C, C++, and Objective-C as X-Code is not the only development suite out there. You will always use Objective-C in X-Code but after you get a framework for your app, you can freely pepper it with C and C++ methods (Which I do as a choice so that I can learn Objective-C at my own pace yet still be productive). Also, there are tons of docs and primers all over the web if you find Apple's docs insufficient (Which I sometimes do).

getting the hang of it.
But now, I am reading all these problems with Xcode. Shall I even
bother with Xcode or just learn straight C until the bugs are worked
out.
