I've never done iPhone stuff, but... on the Mac, I'm pretty sure that
code coverage, like the STL debug mode, only works when you use the
'system settings'. ie the default compiler, native SDK, native
deployment.  So on 10.6, you'd need to use the 10.6 SDK, 10.6
deployment, and gcc 4.2.

However, even doing so, with my app, I do get everything to link, but
all my coverage files say 0% (except for 1 or 2, which have good values).

I think coverage is currently broken.
