"Barely" is better than nothing. Xcode 4 didn't originally allow for
multiple windows *at all*.
As a developer, surely you understand that not all bugs get fixed in
the timescale a user hopes for?

Which is why I am saying that if you are affected by the XCode 4 UI and the missing features of XCode 3 then just stick with 3 in the hope that the issues are fixed in some later date in XCode 4. e.g. enjoy what you have while you have it!

If one day you feel forced to use XCode 4 because 3 is so outdated and you are still not happy with it, then you have a choice, use it and be unhappy or do something else that doesn't involve XCode 4!
