[Xgrid] Tiger Server Controller/Leopard Client Agent and NFS

All,

We have been using Xgrid successfully for the last few years. As our jobs have large input/output datasets, we serve the data via NFS to the cluster nodes, and the job reads/writes the data via NFS. In addition, our jobs run as "nobody" on the agents, as we have not set up Kerberos. All this has worked well for us.

With Leopard now released, we thought we would try upgrading one of the client machines to Leopard, to see if there will be any issues. And there are.

It turns out that the user "nobody" no longer has the ability to read the NFS mounted directories. My question to the group is this: has anyone tried using Xgrid on Tiger Server, with Leopard clients, reading data via NFS? Have there been any changes with respect to NFS and security that may be the cause of this change?

No changes were made to the server, and the other (Tiger-based) agents continue to work well. It is just on the Leopard client that the user "nobody" is unable to read/write to the NFS volumes. Any ideas?
