Re: [Xgrid] copying files to agents

Okay, so this is a problem...

ip-167-242:~ andrew$ xgrid -job run -in /Users/Shared/xgrid/xgtest/ helloworld
dyld: Library not loaded: @executable_path/lib/rbframework.dylib
Referenced from: /var/xgrid/agent/tasks/YbTRSSOw/executables/ helloworld
Reason: image not found
ip-167-242:~ andrew$

That's the standard "can't find the resource" message. The external resource needs to be in the same folder as the executable. Is this what it's doing?

Hi Andrew,

The -in command will copy the *contents* of xgtest into the working directory on the agent. It won't copy the xgtest directory itself. Try instead

xgrid -job run -in xgtest/ helloworld

You could add lines like

/bin/echo `/bin/hostname`
/bin/echo `/bin/pwd`
/bin/ls -lh

to the start of helloworld to make the whole thing a bit clearer. Cya,

Adam
