[Xgrid] Half on and half off

Hi,
I'm new to this XGrid stuff. I've got two new 3 Gig Intel XServes, zurg and sarge. I set up zurg as a controller and client and sarge as a client and set up the grid. Everything seemed to be running fine. Both clients were online and XGrid Admin showed 24 Gigs available (8 processors). Great! Then I did a software upgrade on both machines. When I brought the machines back up, both clients (machines) were offline. In addition, using XGrid Admin on zurg I cannot connect to zurg as a controller. The error log shows the following.

Feb  5 21:48:48 zurg xgridagentd: Warning: error opening connection (zurg): Unable to connect: BEEPError 600 (could not bind socket)

But, I could connect to zurg be running XGrid Admin on sarge.

After digging through the archives I found the following suggestion.

$sudo xgridctl agent stop
$sudo xgridctl controller stop
$xgridctl status
$sudo xgridctl controller start
$sudo xgridctl agent start
$xgridctl status
    15386  ??  Ss     0:00.09 xgridagentd
    15373  ??  Ss     0:00.31 xgridcontrollerd

At this point, running XGrid Admin on sarge, it shows that sarge is online, but zurg is still offline. So I'm still stuck with one client on line (sarge) and one client offline (zurg). I still cannot use XGrid Admin on zurg to connect to zurg as the controller. Sorry for the convoluted explanation. What's a guy to do?

Thanks, Phil
