[Xgrid] xgrid controller using massive resources and rebooting server

Hi,

I managed to submit a batch XML job to our xgrid today that rebooted the controller at least 3 times and restarted the xgridcontrollerd process several times more. I remembered Barry Wark reporting something like this back in May and I thought I'd see if there had been any progress. On the other hand, Barry found that the Matlab job he was running was up to no good; in my case I have no trouble running the executable interactively, and the controller isn't working as an agent anyway.

When I watched the xgridcontrollerd process using top I noticed an RSIZE of over 400 MB at times (our poor controller only has 512 MB RAM!). VSIZE also grew over 2 GB. I've included a sample crash log at the end of this email. Don't know if it's relevant, but one thing common to every crash was the call to
